Quick!! $ burning hole in pocket, must spend!

I've been given the green light to buy a scanner, so don't want to wait overlong ..... would like to purchase in 24=48 hours. What scanner do you use and what would you recommend getting? Any hints? Help-need idea for tonight

I need to turn out a quickie gift tonight--I have a simple wooden box, I think it's 6 x 6, that I want to make into a rosary box for a friend who is being baptized as a catholic on Saturday. I'm thinking about collaging an angel on the top--and finishing the rest of it off with scrolls and white organza ribbons, beads, etc, . I NEED a printable picture of a suitable angel. My Runaway Q art project ...

OKay, I wanted a pic of a duck but couldn't get one. And the lilac and garden gate kept calling me, so I just decided to put a Q on if and say what the heck. I was looking for a layered affect, but not brave enough to put paint on top of the pics. But I did have fun, I fingerpainted a lot of it.
