Nelly aka Bella Nella - Welcome Friends

Hi everyone!

I'm still new to mixed media and altered art, but I'm hooked! I hope to really create many new things and learning from this group and contributing as much as I can. This first picture is of my first altered books which I made with all my favorites things relating to decorating my home. I'll post all of the interior pages soon.

I use a plastic cased clipboard for my trucking stuff(going to alter it now that I have seen yours) and would hate to see it ruined but maybe varnish would coat it enough? hmmm. You got me thinking girl. And your notebooks are all so clever. I did one for the truck with Harley stuff for my hubby. Now after seeing yours, I am thinking I need to do one for my new job. I am leaving for my job tonight. Hubby hasn't got his hazmat clearance yet so I will be going out by myself. Which means I can take some art supplies along(grin) need something to do besides read right? I'll be in a small camper trailer but I have a table to work on. I'm not sure if my laptop will get a signal out there but going to take it along just in case. We are way out in the sticks so not even sure if my cell phone will work out there. Oh goodness I do ramble on, sorry. I had better get my coffee going. Have to take Grampa to church this monring and get the rest of my stuff packed. Have a wonderful week. Hugz, Scary
