Not that I know of. I just have a plain old scanner and Gimp.
Cassie, just wondering??????? I have a setting on my scanner software which removes the dithering from the image printed on newsprint/magazine images. Do you have a similar setting On my software it is under ADVANCED SETTINGS / IMAGE ENHANCEMENTS ...

My scanner is too small to scan the entire back page of the newspaper at once. Boo! Oh well. I want to share these with you for the use in your art. I am planning to make tees with some of the other ads I found in this newspaper sometime soon. These are from Wallaces' Farmer Vol. XXXVII Des Moines, Iowa on Friday, December 5, 1913 No. 49.
