Paper Digital Art and Imagesbykim

Digital images for altered arts, mixed media, collage and crafts

Hi Everyone,

I really like posting 2 challenges and running them both for 2 weeks instead of rushing one challenge into one week. We seem to have more entries and more interest.
So again, we are having 2 challenges and they will run until September 17th cut off.

There will be a pocket packet for each theme, as well any members that particpate in both will receive a parti Icon to add to their profile page.

Both themes will run from now til Sept 17th when I should be posting a new theme and announcing winners.

This theme is Puzzled.
Are you confused? Does something make you go hmmmm? Or are you just always trying to fit the square piece in the round hole?

Well I will definitely be "puzzled" to see what you come up with!

Happy Creating!

Hi Pat,

Yes you can submit like that but if you want everyone to see the image instantly, just start a comment under this post and click on the little black camera at the top of the comment box and it will promt you to upload your image.

Give it a try if you like and I will delete the other post.

And dont worry if it takes you several tries, cuz I can delete each one.

Fabulous entry!!

((((hugs))))

Thanks. Colors are much better in real time than scanned, but I was pleased with it and also loved the others

Hi all / Kim

I am going to cheat on this one. Running out of time before I go on holiday, so I am posting some old work, hope I will be forgiven this once. Last year I was involved in a "Jigsaw jam swap". A group of six of us were involved. Each sent out five ( not necessarily contiguous) jigsaw pieces - one to each of the other partners; and kept one for themselves. With each puzzle piece, an instruction sheet showed where it fitted into the puzzle so that the person altering the piece knew where overlapping objects or danglies, could be placed. The pieces were then posted back to the sender who then had a jigsaw (of six pieces) each piece of which had been altered by another member of the group according to a theme.

Are you still with me?

My jigsaw as assembled can be seen on my flickr photostream where you might see the idea in practice. The theme I chose for my jigsaw, was "things we do at christmas". Two of my contributions to other partners ( who of course chose their own themes) are seen below, as my entry for this weeks challenge.

Hi CAthy

not sure what the issue is here. On my post, I have given a link to the completed set ( 6) jigsaw pieces set out on a canvas (for hanging on a wall) which is on my Flickr photosteam.

There are also images of two jigsaw pieces which I made for other partners actually on the post (here in this discussion thread)

does this make it any clearer?

HI Everyone,

It's been a crazy week for me so I am closing these two challenges and I will draw the winners on Saturday.

But just to keep you busy, I will be posting the next two Pocket Packet Challenges right away.

See ya all on Saturday!
