Hi Everyone,

This week the theme is Lest We Forget Remembrance Day

In honor of Remembrance Day and our fallen soldiers as well as those that continue to fight for us today.

Please take the time to reflect and give thanks to those that have fought for the freedom and rights that you enjoy. Remember loved ones, neighbors friends and family, and share your stories.

I am supplying an image for this theme, just right click and download to your computer. You may use it in your creation or if you have something else you would like to use, please feel free to use it.

This theme will run until November 26th along with 2 other posted themes. The entries will be posted on Main Page as soon as they are uploaded to the site.

There will not be a challenge winner for this theme.

Colors don't look the same, but this is in memory of my Uncle Doug Smith, my dad's oldest brother. He was killed in Italy.

I love both of the entries here;
I made this quickly last night and this morning as I wanted it up in time for Rememberance Day.
It is so important to remember the courage and sacrifice of all the brave soldiers who fought
for our freedom.

Made this for a swap on Flickr. It shows my mother and father at their wedding ( on special licence) before his regiment was sent abroad at the start of the war.The two individual images were taken earlier, I think. He was declared missing after his troopship was sunk in the far east, and mom had a telegram saying he was missing, presumed dead. Luckily he turned up again after things quietened down.

BTW these are all such wonderful images, hard to single any out for special praise.

Hi Everyone,
Over the last few weeks I have been so busy with other things that PPF has fallen a little behind.
Dont worry there are a million more challenges coming so we will be caught up in the next couple of days.

I would like to give a big thanks to all that participated in the last 3 weeks of challenges. And it seems to be these members that have been the glue of PPF. So all will receive 2 PDA points to spend or accumulate.

This list includes:
John Dyhouse
Cathy Wendler
Lynda Gilchuk
Heather Gilbert
Suzanne Delaney
Cassie
Shannon
Sherry

Thanks for playing PPF, and for holdin the fort together! :)

((((hugs))))
