OK..... can we get more entire for the second atc challenge swap. I am again going to select a very open theme - make what you like as long as it is an atc within the overall theme. I am going to leave it running until the 29th November and the theme is .......

A VINTAGE CHRISTMAS

this hopefully means that entrants will receive their swaps before Dec 25th

Again to enter into the swap, post your atc in this thread.
Here's hoping for a better turnout!

Hi Everyone:
Sorry I haven't joined in until now. John thanks for your work on organizing these swaps.
Life is always so busy. This swap looks awesome.
Any would be a joy to recieve.
Here is Xaria the Xmas Melody fairy.
I made up a little story that goes with her.
It opens like a little book to reveal the story I made up for
a few Fairy Alphavet swaps I have been involved in with friends.

.
Xaria The Xmas Melody Fairy brings the
Spirit of Carols to Christmas. Wherever
the joy of song lifts and unites people,
she is there, keeping alive age-old
traditions that date back beyond the middle
ages to Winter Solstice celebrations, when
people danced around stone circles. Her wand
touches the coldest heart and awakens
the Spirit of giving among friends.

John, this is a fabulous idea for a Christmas swap, but the entries are so wonderful! I would like to have a go, but would take no offence if my ATC wasn't swapped, these are wonderful!

Swapping atc's is a great way for artists to get to know each others work and make friends. All entries should be considered for what they are, and wether you are new to the format or an old hand they all count. Part of the fun of swapping this way is that you see all kinds of art each unique to the artist concerned.

The only way to learn to make atc's is to create atc's. The more you create the "better" you can be. In my humble opinion, the more entries the more fun will be had.

Thanks Lydia:
I stamped them with a pretty Encore ink- Satin Rose on a music sheet I won from Kim
in the Pocket Packet Fridays.

Thanks John, I have been making a few for Christmas anyway so when I'm done I will pick one to upload! I do very much enjoy making ATC's, the standard here is pretty breath-taking though :)

Wanted to leave comments too - Lynda, I too love the frosted effect on your ATC! Need to have a look at that technique.
Lydia, I think your ATC is beautiful, love the style of this one!
And Suzanne, your fairy is SO pretty, her wings are gorgeous :)

I had the same issue with the last swap! I decided that I should make a few before I swap. But, John is right as artists/crafters we learn by doing.
