Paper Digital Art and Imagesbykim

Digital images for altered arts, mixed media, collage and crafts

Please feel free to upload your art creation photos to the photo pool, using the quick add on the right hand side of the page or click on the photo tab above and follow the links and procedures for uploading. If you have a flickr account, you can easily import your images that are already uploaded on the flickr site. There are several methods available. All images are held in Que for approval by an administrator. (The que will move fairly quickly cuz we are eager to see your art!)
Please follow these basic guidelines to avoid having images deleted or not approved.

****ART and Craft Photos ONLY*****

This means no family, pets, gardens, babies hubbies etc in your photo pool or albums.
Please post the personal images direct on your profile page using your text box or a flickr slide show.

Art images must be your own works, and creations

Maximum 100 photos per member.

Once you start uploading images, you will see a slide show appear on your profile page with your images only. The slide show holds up to 100 images so to have more in the photo pool is really a waste.

No "Free" Images for sharing in the photo pool or albums
If you would like to upload image photos for others to share on this site., you may post links to images you wish to share on the Free Bees Forum, however the images will be denied if uploaded into the photo pool. And if you are offering free images for others to use, please be sure to post your copyright restrictions.

If you have created a collection of fabulous images or photos and you want to share the links to them, so that others may use them, please feel free to post links in the free bees forum here.

You may also consider adding these images to your personal profile page by uploading them to your text box. (not the photo pool) if you need assistance please send me a message. And another option is to add them to Member Collections. This is done by emailing the images direct to me (Kim aka imagesbykim) and I will upload them to a collection with your name. These images must be from your own personal collection, and be in public domain. All images uploaded into member collections are subject to the same copyright and usage as the rest of the free images. Once you upload your images to the member collections, the images are public and free for all members to use. Even should you leave PDA and the collections are removed, members who have previously downloaded your images will still have the usage to those images. Images accepted would be scanned postcards, vintage photos, ephemera (that you physically own) and your personal photography, drawing, squiggles, paintings etc. Please contact me (Kim) to arrange a member collection. Image collections are subject to approval.

Please respect all copyrights.

If you have created art using someone's photos, (following copyright permission) please give credit where credit is due. Use the images only as outlined by the copyright.

I encourage you to copyright your art creation images so that no one will download them without your permission.

Art created using visible known copyright images IE Disney, Hallmark, American Greetings, Celebrities, your current living relatives (siblings, children ) etc will be instantly removed from this site. Art creations using current trademarks and logos will not be approved.

Please keep your photos current and relevant.
Cull regularly especially if your art is sold, older than a year or you have reached your max. We are not going to be the photo police, but we will ask you to remove images when we notice an overload.

FRESH=NEW=EXCITING=INSPIRATION and we want to see more!

Crop and Edit your photos. Use backdrops, create displays etc.
Remember, even your photos are a reflection of your personal standards, quality and artistic expression.

Add descriptions, titles, serial numbers, keywords and tags for easy searching. Tell about your art creation, how you were inspired, techniques used etc. We even wanna know what kind of glue you used. We have inquiring minds.

Add a watermark, or copyright on your image or in your description to protect your work as you desire. It is your responsibility.

Although we welcome ALL artistic expression, we ask that all nude expression be of artistic and not explicit sexual content. You may upload artistic nude images to your profile page, however we may ask for basic block coverage for displaying on the forum or ask you nicely to remove them.

Be sure to leave comments for others
. Everyone likes to hear positive things and it is encouraging.

Please respect the decisions of the administrators when images are not approved. If you need clarification on a deleted image, please send me a private message.

Additional information may be posted to this discussion as required.

LASTLY:
Please leave a comment below this post that says you have read this message and you may receive a PDA ICON (coming soon)

Truly common sense! Later on when I have had a little more time to absorb info here. I have some fun,
easy copyright free completely artistic approaches. Which I can see will be of interest here.
Thank you for having me here,
Margot
