Digital images for altered arts, mixed media, collage and crafts

Hi Everyone,

In an effort to clean up my studio, website and well just about everything in my path, I have decided to start a PIF (Pay it Forward) here on PDA, (just gotta luv this acronym world we live in)

So here is how it works:

I will upload several items could be art or supplies in posts below. Because there will be several items please let me know by name or title when you want something.

The deal is, you may take as many items as you like, but then you must add just as many items to the pile so that someone else can take something too.

If you claim an item, you MUST add an item.

If someone claims your item you MUST mail it to them at your own expense.

Now it doesn't mean that I will necessarily be the one to claim your item either, it may be someone else.

Please be sure to exchange any address information privately with each other as required.

Please stake your claim on an item in a post.

Add your new PIF item in a separate new post. As items are claimed they will be removed from this post with in a few days.

Items can be art items, supplies, vintage or antiques, a ball of funky fibres, fabulous art papers, rubber stamps, etc. Any thing art and craft related. NEW or USED but please do describe the items in detail

You don't have to claim an item in order to add more PIF's. If you are just interested in getting rid of stuff you are welcome to add your items here. But please dont expect this to be a way of adding up points to collect later.

Everytime you claim a PIF you must post a new one. (even if you added 5 items before and only took 3)

Please show an image or 2 on your reply post as well as a description of the item you are putting up as your PIF. If you have more than 1 of the same item, post it as a separate PIF. If it is a box of 10 something then state the person gets the whole box. Other wise you have 10 separate PIFS.

Please dont list 10 PIFS that are the same. (max at 3 please and then post more as they are claimed)

Keep in mind, you may have to mail it to another country so consider the costs of shipping. The person shipping pays for the shipping.

Anyone that does not honor a commitment on the PIF will not be allowed to participate in future PIF's

If 2 or more members claim the same PIF at the same time, the first post is honored. If you are the second or 3rd claim to the same item. Your post will be deleted.

If you are sad because you missed out on a fab item, and someone got it before you, call them a lucky duck and move on. No sad faces, or comments other than happy well wishes. As well no "neener neeners" from the person that did claim the item.

If you receive your item in the mail and you wish to leave a thankyou post, keep it simple and to the point of how happy you are.

Because I can not be every where at once, and I don't want to have to monitor this for every transaction I would ask that you please let me know only if someone has negged on a commitment.

Thanks
Happy PIF'n
Kim

First view of vintage placemats, "vanilla", I think the old ones have much better looking "lace" than what you get nowadays.

Good Rush, you posted it in the right place! It's not a full set of 45, I assume that is OK?

these are made of heavy chipboard, and they are about the size of an atc (3.25" x 2.5"). these fit loosely in atc sleeves leaving a little more room for 3-d embellishments.
