Hi from the Beautiful Green of East Tennessee

I finally have some time to introduce myself. I live in the gorgeous and green hills of East Tennessee (an Indiana transplant) After 32 years of teaching, I have retired and finally can live in my lime green studio. 24 of those years were spent teaching first grade, and now I am able to cut, glue, glitter, and create for me. Yayyyy! I have sewn and quilted for a long time and am now just beginning to work with collage. My only experience in collage includes cutting out paper dolls from old catalogs as a child and an elementary school art methods class where I created this huge monstrous orange macaroni and pasta creation (use that word loosely). It was uglyyyyyyyyy! But I loved it. Wish I had it. I am so excited to be a part of PDA - and to learn, learn, learn. Compliments and gentle criticism much appreciated. Peace

I think we need some pictures of your 'Lime green' Studio. I've just posted the theme for Pocket Packets...this week we get a whole week to finish it so maybe we'll see a pasta/jewellery creation from you? :O)
