Paper Digital Art and Imagesbykim

Digital images for altered arts, mixed media, collage and crafts

I seem to have forgotten how to PM.

I went to my inbox and entered the member's name,
but it said I needed an email address which I don't know.
Then I lost my whole message.

I looked in her profile for a place to click- send PM but couldn't find it.
Sorry to be a trouble.

Thank you for asking this question...this has happened to me too. Maybe Kim or Lydia could come to the rescue ???

Hi Kay:
I notice it is below Lydia's a Kim's avatar and I clicked on some random avatars.
It is below some but not others and- it was you I was trying to PM. LOL
I wanted to give you my mailing address but will have to wait until I can access a way to PM you.

Hi Suzanne,

You are most likely not signed in to PDA.

Pda will recognize your computer cookies and will let you roam around on PDA but then when you want to do something like send a private message you will not see the buttons.

Try signing out and signing back in again.

Then go to the persons profile that you wish to send a message to and click on the send message button.

You can not send a private message from your in box unless you know the email address of the person you wish to send a message to. However, you can reply to someones message from your in box.

The only way to send a private message to another member is to go to that persons profile and click on the send private message link.

Hope this helps

Hi Suzanne,

Try signing out and then signing back in again.

The only way to send a private message to another member is by going to that members profile page and clicking send a message.

You can find the link under the members avatar.

When you are in your in box, you can send/compose message to those that you have an email address for.

Otherwise, you can reply to messages in your in box.

Hope this helps.

Hi Kim:
I was signed in so I signed out and then back in but,
still don't see the 'Send message link.
I only see three options.

Add as Friend
Share
Block messages.

The send message link is just not there.

Hi Suzanne,

Okay on further checking, I signed out and signed back in again as a different member.

Guess what, Kay has changed some of the settings on her profile. So she may not be receiving messages from you because either you are not her PDA friend or she does not accept private messages from members.

I will have to contact Kay to see what it is.

Are you friends with her? LOL I can check

Suzanne, you are not her friend LOL you need to send her a friend request first.

Then she must send you an accept.
