Hi
My name is Veronica ( Vron to my friends), and I live in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, on the edge of the Peak District National Park - a beautiful place.

I am retired from teaching, and now am very much into anything "arty". I have tried my hand at many things, and have progressed through card making, scrapbooking, art journals, ATC's, a bit of jewellery, and now am into digital art. I love designing art cards, and really enjoy this, particularly old masters and recycling them.....it is all so interesting.
I hope to make lots of new friends here, learn alot of new things, and take part in some of the challenges.

Gee! I'd never leave that area if that is what it looks like! How do you find pics of old masters and know if they are coprighted or not? I've often wondered about that.

Hi Cathy - yes it is a beautiful area.
Old masters etc are easily found via google. I haven't found copyright a problem - I only use for personal use, and they are usually changed beyond all recognition anyway - I use them as a base idea, then alter them in photoshop. I just enjoy playing with them. If I used images to sell, then i would obviously check usage on all photos.
