I am new to the Altered Art world and immediately fell in LOVE with the look of it all and the endless possibilities!!
I have been crafting for a long time and started my crafting biz in 2001 so that I could stay at home with my baby at the time (she's now 8!). Started out tole painting (all self taught and I follow NO rules) on slate, glass jars, paper mache and anything that wasn't nailed down! hahahaha
Then I found the world of primitives and folk art and took off in a different direction, but still incorporating my painting skills.
I started my website in 2003 and since having my 4th major back surgery almost 2 yrs. ago, my biz has slowed down considerably.
Not sure what people want anymore and the competition out there is wicked!
So glad to have found Kim's forum and look forward to learning lots and creating some unique altered art pieces!
Welcome to PDA! I know you will love it here! There is so much to do and see! Be sure to have a hanky handy to wipe the drool from your mouth! LOL! Enjoy yourself and share!

Hi Wendy! Welcom to PDA (Paper Digital Art). I just know you are going to love it here, too. I visited your website, took me a minute to figure out the primsical bunny. Duh! You're right, competition is rough out there, and not all of the products have the level of committment that I can tell your art has. Hang in there. I think Kim has a discussion on here about selling and stuff, whether you share info or just commiserate with each other. Check out the post about Squidoo, that might be an idea for you?
