The success, quality and response to the Lucky Charm swap has sparked this new swap:

Romance Charms Swap For June through to July 31, 2009


Create your charms in lots of 10 and you will receive an assortment of 10 back


Theme is Romance ie.Couples, puppy love, hearts, kisses, birds and the bees, spring, love birds, summer love, weddings, etc. However you interpret it is entirely up to you.

Charms should be dangles of some kind.

Other artists may use these charms in their art including items for resale

Charms can be beaded, cardboard, metal, glass, fabric, wire, multi colored, etc.

Charms can be all the same or all different.


Any color any size
Any shape or design
Any base.

Charms should have some substance to them. I’m not sure exactly how to explain this but if you have participated in other charm swaps you probably know what I mean. Try doing a search on Charm swaps to get some ideas.

Quality must meet or exceed PDA Standards at all times. Your art is a reflection of you!

Sign up is until June 30, and mailed by Latest July 31st.

Charms will be mailed to Kim (myself) and I will redistribute them and mail back to each participant.
I will send my mailing address to all participants

Items should be individually packaged for easy distribution and include your artist information so the recipient know who they came from. A tag, business card or note attached whatever you like.

There will be a $5.00 postage fee to cover cost of postage and mailing materials


Sign ups will be done in groups of 10. (I will be the 11th for the full trade)

If we fill a group of 10 we will start on a second group.

If you want to sign up for the second group, this will require a second set of 10 different charms so that no one will receive 2 of your same charms in 2 swaps.

Due to the mail and re-mail of this swap, and the vast world wide locations, charms may take some time to arrive back to you. Expected time of completion/return to be close to the end of August.

Me 2, Me 2!!!!! But I won't be using those dang green tube beads again, those were a bear and I broke so many trying to make the dangle! And I'll be sure to test spray the sealer this time. (Last time, the can was mismarked in the store--it was marked clear and was actually a milky white!!!)

Hi Kim- If you still need one participant, I'd love to join- It's July 2nd as I write this, so you may have filled it days ago. I'm going to have 3 mornings a week where I have 3hrs. to "kill" for the next month- I'd love to fill them with doing some ART which has taken a back seat to everything else life has been throwing at me.
Just let me know- I'll start working on my ideas in case you do still need a tenth.-
