Welcome to Paper Digital Art!
Thank-you very much for joining in on this internet art group.
My hope is that this will be a place to download free images, create some lovely art, share experience and techniques, participate in challenges, swaps and other fun activities, a place to meet up with friends and make new friends.
My name is Kim Newberg aka imagesbykim. Yes, I am a web shop owner, however on this ning network site, I too am an artist, a friend, a teacher, a blogger and seller just like the rest of you. Though I will from time to time promote my own selling venues, it will not be in excess. I am a customer too, and I encourage other sellers to promote their selves and their wares here as well.
I am so excited to see the members that are already in this group. Some of you are familiar faces, some of you are very close to home and others are so very far away in exotic places that so far I only dream of visiting.
I look forward to getting to know each of you in some way. Whether it is reading your blogs and posts, or enjoying your art creations. I know this group will grow quickly, and so the friends I meet now will probably be the ones I get to know the best.
As members of Paper Digital Art, I encourage you to participate in activities, challenges, specialty groups, and perhaps even host some activities.
Feel free to create groups of special interest, whether you are a stay at home mom, a cat lover, altered book artists, ACEO swappers or Etsy sellers. If you want to hang out with your kindred spirits that share the same interest, please feel free to co-ordinate a group.
Please also take the time to view the profiles of other members, post comments on profile pages, exchange friend invites, and post/comment on the forum discussions.
I have created many different forum topics to get started, including selling, techniques, free bees, For the Cause, and a coffee lounge. Feel free to serve “virtual” cinnamon buns or double chocolate cake anytime of day, and post any type of topics, I will always come sniffing/looking and will be eager to post a reply.
If you need help with anything, or maybe you are a little shy, or just want a few private words, I am always eager to take your private personal messages. If it is really urgent please let me know in the subject line and if you need an immediate answer or reply please let me know.
As with any new group there are a few bumps to figure out along the way.
Photo uploading has been the first bump/question everyone is asking, where and what is allowed.
It has been a little confusing for all and I think I have finally figured out how the photo uploads will work.
In fact I have created our very first activity called The Photo Upload Game.
In this game EVERYONE is a winner!!!
But you must participate in order to win the Game.
The Photo upload Game will change how you post your photos. As of today, you will no longer be able to upload any images into the photo pool. As of the end of the week, any photos already uploaded to the photo pool by members will be removed.
If you have images uploaded, please take a couple of minutes to delete them if you can.
( I am sorry for the confusion, hopefully I can make it up to you in the Photo upload Game.)
The photo pool will be reserved for imagesbykim uploads of images and photos for anyone to download. These will be the only photos you will see on the network site slide show on the main page and in the photo albums.
However, in your profile you control all of the images that are viewed including if you want to give away your own free images.
So please come and join me in the Photo upload Game to learn how to post your images.

This so Great and I'm so extremely excited to be a part and take part in this social network. I am a stay at home homemaker and art creator and am enjoying all avenues that the internet provides. I am still very new to it all though, and you have been most helpfull in helping my on my way. Thank You!
