I just made this from a piece of dried grass I found on my walk this morning. Enjoy.

I have been uploading lots of old family photos from several generations, all of which you're welcome to use in your art.

I also have a collection of ephemera of various kinds -- mostly advertisements and old cookbooks -- which are from my personal collection. Again, you're welcome to use them in your art.

Your ancestors are very hansome/pretty and I am very taken with the images of Ruthie.
Was she your Mom or your Aunt?
She is fab. Thanks for sharing them.
Their was one image of Ruthie, on a fine horse that was (spaceball) so I couldn't save it.

Suzanne, sorry it took me so long to answer your question! Ruthie is actually my mother-in-law. She was a lovely girl and even did a bit of modeling in her day. (At some point I will upload some of her modeling shots.) She was always very vain about her looks and until the end (she died last year at 84) she always dressed in "outfits" from head to toe -- matching bag, shoes, scarf -- and full makeup. She would love that you are enjoying her photos.

I'll double check the permissions on the "spaceball." Sometimes I forget to set the CC license.

Just a short update, I am irregularly uploading images to my stock accounts on Flickr. An even larger account is on my DeviantArt site.

Some recent additions:
Eiffeltower Souvenir Stock

Circus Wagon Thingie Stock

Antique German Continental Typewriter

I hope everybody is doing fine! :-)

Best wishes,

Valeriana

Hi Deluxx:
Thanks for the info on Ruthie:
Sounds like a grand old lady.

Hi everybody :-)

I just acquired these lovely old German playing cards and die cuts/scraps, and would like to share them with you! These are free to use for your personal and commercial artwork, but not for collage sheets and other digital collections.

I have also started selling collage sheets, I have got two more of each set (die cuts, playing cards) available in my shop. Please check my profile if you are interested!

Free to use: Victorian Scraps/Die cuts

I have just added some textures for your use. They are even available for commercial use if you so choose. Just don't claim that they are your own images or harvest them to sale on a cd or collage sheet. Thanks! :)

I just found a cute children's book here. http://www.archive.org/details/RM_Ballantyne_The_Butterflys_Ball There is 1 color image on the pdf and several pages with black and white images of butterflys and also lots of text. I downloaded the PDF version. It is in the public domain. It was first published 1874. I thought it was so cute and had to share it. :)
